In 2023 Newick Parish Council were made aware of plans to apply for up to 300 homes on a site north of the A272. The Parish Council has received a huge amount of enquires from residents, concerned about the impact this potential development might have on the village. Following a suggestion to them from Newick Parish Council, Brookworth Homes and Parker Dann completed a consultation event at Newick Village Hall on 29th November 2023. Newick Parish Council anticipate that a full planning application will be submitted in due course and will share information on any application here.
