Mowing and Grounds Maintenance Contract
Newick Parish Council’s existing mowing and grounds maintenance contract will come to an end on 31st March 2026 and the Council is currently seeking quotations for a new contract to run for a three-year period commencing 1st April 2026.
The Council would like to invite companies to submit a quotation for the work as detailed in the specification. If you submitted a bid in 2022 the specification is unchanged apart from one additional optional cut on the wildflower areas. The maps and information relevant to the specification can be found in the links at the bottom of this page. Please note, the approach to the four open spaces on the Ashdown View Estate (Oldaker Road and surrounding area) are subject to a decision which is due to be made in the full Parish Council meeting on 13th October 2025.
If your company is only able to provide quotes for part of the specification (e.g. only for the grass cutting but not the hedge cutting) then please provide details of what works are/are not included in your quote. The Parish Council is happy to spilt the contract across multiple contractors.
Please submit your quotation to Emma Reece, Clerk to Newick Parish Council by email to newickpc@newick.net by 1st November 2025 at the latest, ensuring that you include the information and documentation detailed on page 1 of the specification.
Quotations will be assessed based on value for money offered to the Council. Please note that this does not necessarily mean that the lowest quotation will be chosen.
